Pastor Steve and Elizabeth Harshman have been married for twenty five years. They have four children; Joshua, Jordan, Caleb and Judah. They also have one grand-daughter Amy Ray.

Life in the Ministry
Pastor Steve and Elizabeth have been involved in the ministry for several years; both are former PK’s form Phoenix, Arizona. Over the years they have served the church in just about every area there is within a church. Steve attended Southwestern Assembly of God University (SAGU) in TX and Elizabeth is a Registered Special Education Services Paraprofessional, and has more than 12 years of Children’s ministry experienced in programs with an average attendance of more than one hundred plus students.

They both have a heart for people, and desire to see others reach their own God given potential. In June of 2003 they relocated from Phoenix, AZ to Newkirk, OK where they served as the senior pastors at Christ’s Church for almost eight years. However, in February of 2011 they were elected to serving as the new senior pastors of Abundant Life Church here in Sterling AK, and over the last few months they have been in the difficult transition of relocation. Thankfully, they arrived on April 24, 2011. Pastor Steve is an effective communicator, teacher and encourager, Elizabeth has a contagious passion for the Lord, and together through Christ they feel called to communicate the message of the gospel not just in word, but with action. It is their conviction and that every ministry that exists or will be birthed here at Abundant Life Church will be understood and operate as an invitation to join Christ in the renewing, restoring and reconciling all things both in heaven and on earth.
